Paul F. Kirvan, CISA, FBCI

Paul Kirvan has more than 28 years of experience in disaster recovery planning, business continuity, information technology, security and telecommunications. He has completed more than 50 consulting and audit engagements, working in business continuity, security, enterprise risk, IT/telecom and governance, with several projects in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors.

In addition to consulting, Mr. Kirvan’s key positions have included Vice President with Marsh & McLennan’s Global Risk Management practice, Senior Manager with Prevalent Networks LLC, an information security management firm, and Director of Telecommunications for The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

Mr. Kirvan is currently a member of the board and secretary with the Business Continuity Institute’s USA Chapter, an Approved Instructor of the BCI and a former member of the international Board of Directors of the BCI. In 2001 he received the Industry Achievement Award from the International Disaster Recovery Association (IDRA). Mr. Kirvan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI). He holds a B.A. in communications from the Pennsylvania State University.
